Doesn't life just get that much sweeter when it's warm? My good friend Susie came to stay for a long weekend with her two little guys (a baby and a two year old (in the cape)). We had a pretty busy time (with all the napping and feeding) but managed to fit in a spontaneous beach visit late one afternoon, complete with super hero children and beer for the mums. It's amazing how quickly you forget how time consuming and completely dependent babies are! But they're so lovely. I like that at this time of year you can end up at the beach without swimsuits or sunscreen and not get burnt. Bliss. I'm pretty easily burnt myself and so we tend not to spend too much time at the beach. This one is our local though, 3.5km up the road according to the online map I just looked up. It's great for late afternoon - sunset visits for us.

I like beach outings to at either end of the day, sunrise is best - perhaps we can fit a beach visit in this weekend L & C Grandpa xxooxx
