"Some of the kids in our class say that we're boyfriend and girlfriend" he said tonight, blushing slightly.
"What does that mean to be boyfriend and girlfriend?" I asked, genuinely curious to what that means when you're five.
"That we're getting married." he replied.

So sweet Meg. I remember having my first crush when I was five but I thought that he should come and live at my house and be my brother rather than get married!
Just saw your comment about sign language. I have got a book out of the library at the moment and we have started doing a few signs....although it would be fair to say that we are a bit crap at remembering! Anyway, so far we are signing milk, food, bath and sleep.
Any recommendations? eg how many signs to start with, any signs that are more helpful than others or easier to learn for starters?
