Finally I am posting photos of the Princess and the Pea play set I made my sweet wee niece for her birthday. It was inspired by this gorgeous one. I had a nasty plastic doll from the $2 shop (remember I was desperate!!) but managed to get this wee princess made for me by a lady at the Titirangi Village Market. It's on the last Sunday of the month as a fund raiser for the local Steiner school. My sister Katie needle felted the pea (so cute) and I sewed it onto the mattress so that little brother Ben won't try and eat it!!

Oh, that's so very adorable! My 4 year old LOVES that story... read it over and over again. That's a real gift to treasure. Beautiful!
