how not to make a gingerbread house

How to wreck your gingerbread house in three easy steps...

1. run out of kremelta and substitute margarine (don't try this).
2. worry about it burning so bake it for less time than required.
3. discovering that your pieces are too soft, pop them back in the cooling oven and forget about them till they are blackened and horrible.
4. done.

We'll try again today with the new dough that B and I made last night.  He went to the supermarket especially for more kremelta so we could start over.  I was so hot and bothered by the time he got home from work after seven.  Not loving the humidity at all.  I am loving the laminated gift wrap stars that we had on the tree last year.  I reused them on our wreath and they're strung up around the place for birthday decorations too.

Oh I'm trying not to laugh!!! That TOTALLY sounds like something I'd do re being extra extra careful so as not to burn it and then forgetting about it in the oven! Better luck with today's one :)
LOVE the wreath also - very cool! X
