The day before school went back the boys wanted to play schools! Specifically to have a pet day because they don't have one at their real school. Pyjama days are always popular at our place so we managed to combine the two.
First thing we wrote up a schedule for the day just like they do at school. Because we were at home I had to include some chores on there (mostly as I needed to get a lot of laundry done).
They wrote id cards for their animals and it turned out that most of the pets love chocolate! So I let the boys take a field trip (in their pjs) to buy some chocolate at the dairy. They came back with a huge block of delicious dark chocolate peppermint (dairy free).
Here they are counting the pieces of chocolate so they accidentally got some maths in there too. Actually we could have done a whole lot of adding and stuff but instead we just ate it. Yum!
Some people are cleaner eaters than others...
After the chocolate eating we did fitness, whole school aerobics I called it.
Actually it was Just Dance 2, wonderfully fun and sweaty.

Gorgeous Meg! I really love the way you let your boys "be" and create. What a fun way to end the holidays!
That was a fun day - well done.

Love your photos Meg, and the way they capture sooo much! Sounds like the coolest day.
If I had cool pjs like that I'd have a jamie day now and then too. How cool.
Your lovely painting in the background looks so good and the bridge is still standing. Hooray for the artists who captured so much of our lovely city before things changed forever. Love you XOXOXOXO
You ARE the coolest mother.
You know that, right???
Those pictures are fantastic (as always)
