splore thursday

 We took #2 out of school to come to Splore early to set up.

His third baby tooth came out at lunchtime.

Splore is a music and arts festival held every two years near Auckland.

B and I were working in the Rumpus Room so were allowed in on Thursday. Lucky.

 Big brother stayed in the city for his school sleepover.  Little brother spent the afternoon helping the local artists with their projects.  He was a very enthusiastic worker.

As dusk fell we ventured out to explore the site and see the art trail before the crowds arrived on Friday.  This huge swing has been at every Splore since the first one in 1998.  It's so much fun.

The lights were magical.  You can see a man setting them up in the middle of the picture.

Our littlest artist was right at home amongst the art and music adventures.
