I found three old scrabble games (in one box) at a church garage sale last weekend and had to buy them, even though we already have regular, junior and travel scrabble. Mostly I thought they'd be good for something crafty. And we've managed to use all three game components in today's creative endeavours.
The letters have been used to label the boys' bedrooms and the least mouldy board is being framed up by DaddyB for our board game wall display, inspired by these ones.
Last weekend he framed up an old Ludo board (with room on the back to store the pieces).
As far as games go we don't love ludo (dice games are dicey) but it does look cool.
It's not cool when your brother sends your piece back when you're almost right around the board.
Also not cool is the amount of notices that came home from school this week!
Easter eggs displayed on twisty willow branches... cool.
And having such a crafty honey is super cool.
Check back tomorrow to see what he made with a hula hoop and 300 fairy lights!
