I'm not sure if covering old shoe boxes with maps is technically a craft, but it did involve glue and was pretty satisfying as far as craftiness goes. Now I have pretty boxes to stash chargers and hair things in.
Making these bunnies with the boys at Easter required felt, pipe cleaners, pins and a hot glue gun.

Love those boxes! What a great use for old maps and shoe boxes.
Now I'm wishing I hadn't left the maps our swiss friends gave us in the box of stuff i passed on to someone else. Bummer. Map-covered archive boxes would have looked so cool!
What you DO with glue = very crafty. Love the box and map idea very, very muchly!
