handwriting practice

I have lots of good intentions but struggle to actually do much to help #2 with his handwriting.  Last holidays I was going to spend lots of time with him on it but alas the school year started and we'd only done it once or twice.  Don't think I'd ever be much good at home schooling.  If anyone has any tips on how to help a lefty with his handwriting please leave me a comment!

I googled ' how to teach a left hander to write'
there are lots of sites. The one below gives a good overview, particularly how to hold the pencil and how to position the paper and the person writing. Hope this helps L & C Grandpa xxooxx

Check out Copycat Books for lots of handwriting worksheets you can print out. For lefties, writing on one sheet at a time instead of a thick workbook is much easier. Copycat Books are e-books to download and print out for handwriting practice. Biblical and academic themes. Manuscript and cursive. Three popular handwriting styles: traditional, modern, and italic. Lots of free printables available.
