Do you let your kids use the super sharp knives? I absolutely love that my six year old offers to help in the kitchen. Yes things take a little longer and yes the knife handling thing makes me a little nervous, but it's just so wonderful to have a keen sous chef. And his knife skills are actually pretty good these days... practice makes perfect after all.
It appears that winter still hasn't quite hit us yet (just noticed the lack of clothing).

Great that the boys are keen on cooking - a good skill to have, it's nice to prepare and share food. Hope soccer goes well this morning
