Oh my gosh - you are so brave. I cant bear the thought of cutting off my lovelies hair.
hahha.. I gulped when my son asked for a mohawk too.... he wanted the real mccoy like yours have... but after some negotiations... we ended up with quite a long "spike" in the middle... and a number 2 on the sides...hehe. (good compromise!) hehe.
