When little brother had a friend to play last week we got out the hot glue gun and the craft supplies, had a rummage in the recycling and they came up with these awesome wee guys. They had made name labels for the robots but they went missing before I had a chance to take pictures. Shefbot was given his name for his tall white chefs hat. Tomorrow I'll show you the surprise message I discovered on our bathroom wall made with hot glue and scrabble letters.
Week one of the holidays saw me mostly in bed and the boys doing heaps of cooking. They signed up for this cool free kids cooking holiday program It's My Turn to Cook Tonight. Over the three days they made all sorts of meals for us and had a great time learning and eating. It's on next school holidays too so give it a go with your small people.
DaddyB also took the boys to the museum and the skate park while I slept last Sunday. This cold is a nightmare to shake. Almost all of these photos are taken by B. He is awesome and I love him to bits.
Although I haven't baked for about two weeks (work and now sickness (day 5 in bed!)), I wanted to share this gorgeous loaf we made recently. I started again from scratch making a sourdough starter. Hopefully this one will last forever! If we go away again it's coming too, or I'll have to get a sitter. Sounds a little extreme I know but I was devastated when we got home from our summer holiday to a stinky fridge/freezer and purple mould on my sourdough.
