A portrait of our children, once a week, every week, in 2014
8 - enjoying popcorn (again) from the beautiful popcorn bucket that Mum and Dad brought me back from America. It's so pretty that I want to make popcorn all the time.
10 - these spring days are making us think summer is almost here... good time for popsicles (technically zoku pops) and wearing shirts from teefury (great tv/game/comic/literature inspired tees for $US11).
Anyone else excited about the All Blacks playing Australia tonight? Well there are some keen people in our house getting up at 630 tomorrow to watch the recorded game. Here's our big 10 year old rugby player in his mouth guard and headgear glory this morning.
Turns out that it wasn't their final game of the season, there are two more to go. They were playing on artificial turf today so no mud for a change, We usually go in our gumboots and all of the players get super grubby. NanaD and Poppa are in town and so could come along which was lovely.
Saturdays around here are filled with porridge, football and rugby. Being a one car family it often requires negotiating and car pooling with others, sometimes even taking the bus. Both boys have been playing hard this year and I'll get some rugby photos next week at their final game for the season.
As it was a local game we rode our bikes there and went for coffee and treats at Cosset afterwards. Love love love taking R there and letting him choose from their big range of dairy free yummies. This was a chocolate cupcake with ginger icing and he had washed his hands!
I love riding my bike with my Wonder Woman helmet!
